Better Late Than…

by Damien Franco on October 26, 2008

It’s been hard watching the Dallas Stars perform (or lack of performance) on the ice lately.  They just seem too riddled with injuries and don’t really seem to have a solid chemistry built.

So instead, here’s a congratulations to my favorite sports analyst Daryl “Razor” Reaugh on his two emmys.

Well deserved awards for such a novel wordsmith.

Paul Newman, 83, died at his home in Westport, Conn., Friday after suffering from lung cancer.

As an actor and humanitarian Paul Newman was one of the most prodigious talents ever to grace a screen.

He is remembered for notable and award winning performances throughout his illustrious carreer.

I’ll always remember him as Reggie Dunlop of the Charlestown Chiefs from one of the greatest hockey movies of all time; Slapshot.

RIP Paul Newman.  You will be missed.

More Stars On Emmy Night

by Damien Franco on September 24, 2008

Every body’s favorite (at least he’s my favorite) sports color analyst Daryl “Razor” Reaugh just announced that he and Ralph Strangis have been nominated for an Emmy!

So have many of the other guys who help bring us all great coverage of our beloved Dallas Stars.

Well deserved no doubt.

Good luck guys, I hope you win!
